My husband and I don’t get to be in front of the camera often. In fact, we haven’t taken photos since our wedding several years ago. So this year I knew something had to change, especially since we got our cute pup. Wally is 10 months old this month and a bundle full of joy. Besides him chewing up things he is not supposed to occasionally (like last night when he decided it was a great idea to get one of the ornaments of the Christmas tree), he’s the smartest and sweetest dog I’ve ever owned. He looooooves kids and snuggling in bed in the morning, and fetching the ball is his favorite activity.
Now that we had a reason to get in front of the camera, I asked my good friend, Jeff, to bear with me as I picked all of my favorite spots at Philippe Park for our shoot. He was so kind to take these amazing pictures for us and even let me edit them myself. He probably wouldn’t have wanted to because I’m the most picky person ever when it comes to pictures of myself–haha!
Being in front of the camera and seeing the result definitely gives you a better perspective of how my clients feel while being photographed. To be honest, I only expected to maybe get 3-4 great photos that I would actually like out of this shoot for our Christmas card this year. But I was definitely wrong. I really can’t thank Jeff enough for these special pictures. My mom will be over the moon when she receives some of these for Christmas this year. 🙂
